Speaking of breakfast, are you an a.m. eater, or does the morning meal totally turn you off?  Has it always been that way, or do you go through phases?

We DallasEats girls are both breakfast devotees, but we're always curious to hear other folks' thoughts on the subject.  Also, for all of you in the strictly coffee category, is there one special dish that will bring you to the table in spite of your aversion?

I love breakfast and my morning java! In fact, I just polished off an English muffin with almond butter.

Gammypie, over the past few months, I've noticed that you and me are on the same schedule :) I got a little caught up today, though, so I'm just getting around to breakfast...and more coffee!

Definitely breakfast. Eating approximately every two hours in small portions is great for controlling weight. However, I prefer some sort of protein to cereal or muffins. I'm also not averse to eating leftovers for my morning meal.

Eh, not a breakfast person- but I force myself to eat it anyway. I tend to like either fruit or "real" food for breakfast, as opposed to eggs, bacon, etc.

I'm an eggs and bacon girl. Or better yet, Eggs Benedict or something else yummy. During the week though, I can often do without breakfast at all.

Have never been a breakfast person. As a child, my Mom always had a cup of hot chocolate for me. Since high school, it's been large amounts of black coffee!

Brunch is a totally different matter. Lovely breakfast treats at a time when a person is awake enough to enjoy them!

I always eat some sort of breakfast, usually a granola bar, during the week. Growing up, I always had pancakes or french toast on Saturdays. I only dream of that, now. Unfortunately, my husband is not a fan of breakfast. But I'll eat it all - eggs, bacon, muffins, biscuits, fuit...all wonderful! Except oatmeal.

I've always been a breakfast person though it varies what I'm in the mood for - could be a piece of leftover pizza, a bowl of cereal, one of those Carnation Instant Breakfast drinks, or the full traditional bacon and eggs spread, but if I don't get something in my belly - look out!

Breakfast is my favorite meal...a hot cup of Folger's instant coffee with my morning newspaper, a bowl of milk-softened Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats with a banana (which my pet parakeet, "Chiquita" shares) and a tall glass of ice-cold Minute-Maid of Tropicana orange juice which helps the medicine go down. Can't beat that can you? Rosey

If I don't have my my morning cereal (currently it's been multi-grain cheerios with banana slices to help me keep my potassium up) and a glass of OJ (Simply Orange with Pineapple is my latest obsession), my morning is not complete.
